Welcome! I’m an Assistant Professor in the School of Management at Jinan University and the Research Associate of the Research Center for the Industrial Development of Guangdong and its Regional Cooperation with Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. I obtained my PhD. in economics from the National School of Development at Peking University.

My research focuses on the economics of ethnic networks, particularly overseas Chinese networks as intermediaries in trade, capital, technology, and knowledge flows between China and the global economy. I study their historical formation, long-run persistence, and evolving roles in supporting China’s industrial upgrading and Chinese firms’ international expansion under changing geopolitical environments.
