I study how Chinese networks quietly move goods, capital, technology, and ideas across borders — through the tangible vessels of migration: clan genealogies, migration archives, diaspora communities, and Chinese surnames. 我借助移民网络的具象实体——宗族族谱、移民档案、侨乡社群、华裔姓氏——研究华人网络如何在国与国之间悄然传输货物、资本、技术与观念。

My research focuses on the economics of ethnic networks — particularly overseas Chinese networks as intermediaries in trade, capital, technology, and knowledge flows between China and the global economy. I study their historical formation, long-run persistence, and evolving roles in China's industrial upgrading and firms' international expansion. 我的研究方向为族群网络经济学，重点关注海外华人网络在贸易、资本、技术与知识流动中连接中国与全球市场的中介作用，包括其历史形成、长期演化，以及在地缘政治变动下对中国产业升级与企业国际化的影响。
